Cuando llegamos al final de nuestro período de cuarentena y se nos permite jugar, descubro
que he sido tan feliz en nuestro pequeño paraíso verde, que no estoy seguro de si quiero salir
de el.
Sé que muchas personas han sufrido terriblemente en el confinamiento de sus hogares, pero
ese no es nuestro caso, y aparte de la falta de contacto personal con otros en el mundo
exterior, nos hemos entretenido con cientos de pequeños proyectos, que han asegurado que
no nos aburramos en ningún momento.
Como consecuencia, la Casita Verde nunca estuvo tan ordenada y presentable en toda la
historia de más de 27 años y estoy decidido a mantenerla así mientras estoy vivo y lo
suficientemente bien como para administrar el centro.
Supongo que muy pronto podremos invitar a posibles inversores para el proyecto 'Ibiza
Ecolandia', y al visitarnos en Casita Verde puedan tener una buena idea de qué es
exactamente si quisiéramos construirlo en una escala mucho mayor y cuál sería su propósito.
Desde la invención de este 'sueño' en 1999, he estado trabajando duro para hacer una especie de 'modelo viviente' de la historia más grande y he estado esperando el momento adecuado para presentar mi visión a un público más amplio. ¡Creo que ha llegado el momento, por lo que haré todo lo posible para presentar esta propuesta de 'Cambio de juego' a cualquier persona interesada en invertir su dinero y tiempo en algo tan importante para el futuro de Ibiza y del resto del planeta!

El 20 de mayo en Casita Verde, junto con Agathe Utard y Marc Osmo, presentamos una nueva
versión de la iniciativa de Liderazgo Social 'Ibiza Fènix' e invitamos a muchas personas
interesadas a unirse a nosotros en la conexión a internet 'Zoom'.
Agathe y Marc habían estado trabajando durante unas semanas antes, para recopilar toda la
información relativa sobre el movimiento Ibiza Fènix y preparar algún tipo de síntesis fácil de
seguir que sirviera para relanzar toda la plataforma. Esto incluye un análisis detallado de la
situación actual en la isla y una hoja de ruta para abarcar todos los problemas y soluciones,
utilizando la multitud de talentos que tenemos disponibles dentro de la organización.
Personalmente, creo que hicieron un gran trabajo y espero que podamos aprovechar al máximo la llamada de atención Post Covid-19 para movilizar a los residentes de la isla, las
administraciones locales y los turistas visitantes de una manera que nunca antes había sido
posible.
Por supuesto, esto no sucederá de la noche a la mañana y también necesitaremos encontrar
financiación adecuada para respaldar todo el programa de trabajo, que se ha proyectado para
los próximos dos años. Incluye una revisión completa del sitio web actual de Ibiza Fènix,
además de la instalación de modernas herramientas de comunicación, que pueden utilizar
todos los participantes que deseen trabajar en la regeneración de la biodiversidad rural y la
economía ética de nuestra isla.
Para realizar nuestro plan maestro, tenemos la intención de involucrar a Agathe Utard y Marc
Osmo como parte del equipo de coordinación principal y tratar de encontrar un equilibrio
perfecto entre las contribuciones voluntarias y los profesionales remunerados, para que se
pueda mantener la logística económica del movimiento. a lo largo de todo el proceso. Hasta
ahora, el movimiento Ibiza Fènix ha sido financiado por mí, y también por donaciones recibidas a través de nuestra Asociación Ibiza Ecologic. dentro de los límites establecidos por la organización de salud española, donde invitaremos a
posibles inversores y simpatizantes a unirse a nuestra iniciativa.
Mientras tanto, la Casita Verde permanece cerrada a los visitantes, a excepción de aquellos
que trabajan directamente dentro de nuestra organización, o que están invitados a un recorrido como parte de un programa educativo ofrecido a través de instituciones locales.
Con suerte, un día pronto, Ibiza tendrá un Centro de Ecología mucho más accesible, que estará abierto a todo el público, los siete días de la semana y que seguramente servirá para acelerar el movimiento hacia la creación de un futuro más regenerador y prometedor para nuestro todavía hermoso planeta Tierra.

As we come to the end of our quarantine period and are allowed out to play, I find that I have
been so happy in our little green paradise, I’m not sure if I want to go out of it!
I know that many people have been suffering terribly in the confinement of their homes, but that isn’t our case at all and apart from the lack of personal contact with others in the outside world, we have been totally entertained with literally hundreds of little projects, which have ensured that we didn’t get bored at all.
As a consequence, the Casita Verde has never been so tidy and presentable in the whole
history of more than 27 years and I am determined to keep it this way as long as I am alive and well enough to manage the centre.
I guess that very soon, we will be able to invite any potential investors for the ‘Ibiza Ecolandia’
project, to pass by and see us at Casita Verde, so that they can get a very good idea of exactly
what it is we’d like to build on a much bigger scale and what would be its purpose.
Since the invention of this ‘dream’ way back in 1999, I have been working hard to make a kind
of ‘living model’ of the larger story and have merely been waiting for the right moment to arrive before presenting my vision to a wider audience. I believe that the time has come, and so will make every effort to present this ‘Game changing’ proposal to anyone interested in investing their money and time into something so important for the future of both Ibiza and for the rest of the planet!

On the 20th of May at Casita Verde, together with Agathe Utgard and Marc Osmo, we
presented a new version of the ‘Ibiza Fènix’ Social Leadership initiative and invited many
interested people to join us on the ‘Zoom’ internet connection.
Agathe and Marc had been working for quite a few weeks previously, to gather up all the
relative information about the Ibiza Fènix movement and to prepare some kind of easy to follow synthesis which would serve to re-launch the whole platform. This includes a detailed analysis of the present situation on the island and a road map towards embracing all problems and solutions, using the multitude of talents we have available within the organisation.
Personally, I think they did a great job and hope that we can take full advantage of the Post
Covid-19 wake-up call to mobilise both the island's residents, local administrations and the
visiting tourists in a way which has never been previously possible.
Of course, this will not happen overnight and we will also need to find some suitable finance to support the whole work programme, which has been projected over the next two years. It
includes a complete overhaul of the present Ibiza Fènix website, plus the installation of modern communication tools, which can be used by all participants who would like to be involved in the regeneration of our island's rural biodiversity and ethical economy.
In order to realise our master plan, we intend to involve both Agathe Utard and Marc Osmo as
part of the main coordination team and try to find a perfect balance between volunteer
contributions and paid professionals, so that the economic logistics of the movement can be
maintained throughout the whole process.
Until now, the Ibiza Fènix movement has been financially supported by myself, and also from donations received via our Ibiza Ecologic Association. However, since the movement is now
taking on a much more powerful role and will need much more financial input, it is imperative
that we find alternative funding sources to raise our activity level and allow the ‘Fènix’ to fly with its own propulsion system.
For this reason, we are planning to make a more public presentation, as soon as possible within the limits set by the Spanish health authorities, where we will be inviting prospective funders, investors and supporters to join our initiative.
Meanwhile, the Casita Verde remains closed to visitors, except for those working directly within our organisation, or who are invited for a tour as part of an educational program offered via local institutions.
Hopefully, one day soon, Ibiza will have a much more accessible Ecology Centre, which will be
open to the whole public, seven days a week and which will surely serve to accelerate the
movement towards creating a more regenerative and promising future for our still beautiful
planet Earth.
