Purslane

Common purslane (Portulaca oleracea, Portulacaceae)

English: common purslane, pigweed, little hogweed

French: pourpier

Rusian: портулак

The common purslane is a frequent plant in Ibiza's fields where it is often considered a weed. However, it is a tasty vegetable for salads, just like the winter purslane. Moreover it is a good remedy against constipation. So if it proves necessary to weed this plant, it can be eaten.
