Agricultural Show

Greenheart has once again been invited to participate in the Ibiza farming show (Fira del Camp) which is being held in the Island's congress hall on the 1st and 2nd of December.

Once again this year, a whole area has been dedicated to ecological organisations and organic farmers, plus other companies involved in green business initiatives. You can even buy your certified eco-groceries, fresh and also packaged, right there! Also present will be the Counsel from Palma that regulates Ecological Agriculture at Balearic level, plus the Ecological Farmers’ Association of Menorca (thanks to the generous support of the authorities in Menorca). In this way, the gathering of “green farmers” shows again a strong Balearic-wide feel, which will no doubt help this sector to continue to be the only one growing at present within the farming industry.

This “green corner” at the Fira shows that there is a growing activity in these areas, and a wider cooperation between entities, which we hope will be accompanied by a growing interest and participation by the general public.

Hopefully, next year will see even more space dedicated to Green activities, which should serve to further improve the bond between environmentally conscious businesses and groups in Ibiza, and help to develop an economic system which is environmentally more sustainable.
